Gokarna-Honnavara Beach Trek

9th June 2007 to 10th June 2007

To do something different ( as usual); myself and 7 mates set for a beach trek along the gokarna to honnavara costline. It was a fantastic experience with partly sunny climate which made climbing the hills that intercepted beaches easy. Worth a try! For a small intro the 7 mates with our usual odd names are as below:
Kaddi praveena (myself)
hudibaba gouthama
rowdy ramesha
cool pavana
silent suneela
mysore santhosh
simple prithvi

Here is the beaches we trekked in sequence:
Gokarna beach(~500m)
Kudle beach ( ~500m)
Om beach (1km probably)
Halfmoon beach (<500 m)
paradise beach (<300m but superb!)
belekana village
aghanashini river
Kumta beach (7km stretch)
Dhareshwari betta
